Katech C7 ZR1 development

We've been on the engine dyno since January developing the latest products for the LT5. In case you missed it, check out this video where we made 1013hp on E85!

Some of these products have already been released, and we talk about some upcoming parts in this video:

Now that tuning has been unlocked, it's time to apply what we've learned to the vehicle. We started with 4 baseline runs with only minutes between.

The vehicle is my M7 ZR1.

I’m ready for a lightweight flywheel! 😁

Jason, when will we see pricing and availability of the 112mm TB?

I don't have a date at this time. I'm pushing to have it as soon as possible because I know it will be a hot product.

Highest baseline versus headers/intake/tune. We are still working on it.

There was a lot of wheel spin below 4000 on the baseline, so you can see the large torque difference.

Jason, great info. I'm looking forward to the future mod's updates.
Can you elaborate a little more on the baseline car?
Is it an A8 or M7?

Mods
Is the CAI a GM CAI?
What headers?
Does the X-pipe have Cats or no Cats?
What was the peak boost of both cars?
Do you plan to install and test your new ported TB?

I notice that on the mod dyno run that you ran the RPM out a little higher to 6,800ish, does this car still have the stock valve train to include stock valve springs?
Up to what RPM do you believe the stock valve train can remain stable?

Thanks, Bob

M7
GM CAI
Kooks 2" headers
Stock valvetrain. We don't have Spintron data on it.
