Break upgrade?

Hello,

I'm thinking of tracking my ZR-1 and have concerns about the factory breaks not holding up. What is the easy/best upgrade for the Z?

Thanks in advance.

^Iagree....that is the best Bang for the Buck if you truly require an upgrade. I've done that upgrade on my '92 LT1 specifically for track use....but I had the BASE brakes, which the ZR-1 never had. ZR-1 came with the optional "J55" brakes with a ~13"' rotor.

Two things, however; C5 brakes, and C5Z06 brakes are the same...except the Z06 caliper was painted red. So save money and skip the "Z06" part.

Second, I'd start by getting good track pads and good brake fluid. The stock brakes are very likely, better than good enough. :yesnod:
