Absolute pure joy.

I have a 2005 Z51 convertible. The only mods I have really done to it are a set of K&N filters, a Corsa sport exhaust, and an MGW shifter. The car cost me $25k last year. I have never had so much fun driving in my life. The MGW shifter is amazing, and when I let off the gas the exhaust gurgles and pops a little. I just wanted to give a shout out to Corvettes in general. We are all so blessed to have them, and I never knew driving could be this much fun, for a relatively small amount of money for what you get. What a great American sports car!

I daily drive a '10 GS, manual. Just got my second set of Hankook Evo2s, and a great alignment. The car at 57K feels new. These are great cars.

It took me years and years to finally buy a Corvette. I picked one up last week. It’s a 2005 convertible. I never imagined how much I would love driving a car. It’s just an unbelievable feeling being behind the wheel of a car like this. So glad I never gave up on my dream of buying one . My wife always wanted me to have one but the timing was never right. Unfortunately she passed away last year, but I know she’s looking down on me with a huge smile on her face. This one’s for you, honey. I feel very lucky to be in a forum like this. There is no better group of people to learn things from and share our experiences with. I’m proud to say I own a Corvette.

To the OP get you some longtubes and a xpipe. I went the cheap way out and bought TSP. If you think it sounds good now the long tubes will free up some hp that you will be able to feel. I have put 53k on mine in the past two years. Enjoy! I know I am.

I daily drive my 05 Z51 coupe, and I love every minute. Once I drove my first corvette, I’ve never looked back! See sig.

Did this today...
https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...9e7704c42b.jpg
60K on my C6.
69/70 mph @ 1500 RPM.
And averaged 27 mpg today coming home (including stop & go traffic in Seattle), amazing!

Addictive, fun to drive great American Sports Car!
Timespace warp tool at the right pedal.

Next 60K will be even better!

See some of you folks later this summer at Bowling Green caravan!
