Window tint recommendation-Kent/Renton

Checked with Yelp, but wondered if anyone had direct experience?
What's a reasonable price for all side windows and rear hatch?
C7 Z06. 40%, at least leaning toward that tint percentage.

I've had a lot of work done at Tint Xxperts in Auburn. The gal who runs the place is a little wacky but the tint guys are top notch. They didn't do my Vette (done before I bought the car) but they have done at least 6 other cars of mine with excellent results.

I have used Dealer Express in Auburn. Great prices and good work.

I also used Dealer Xpress in Auburn and had good results. I had them do the side windows & back glass. Now that the back glass isn't curved, it's much easier to do!

Thanks, I'll check them out. Visited Diamond Window Tinting in Tukwila. They offer four material options: ok, good, better, best. The "better" product and installation came to $380.

I missed responding to the level of tint. I had my C6 done in 20% tint. It's great during the daytime but was too dark for me at night, especially driving on side streets that didn't have lighting. So I had 30% (32% I think is what they called it) done on my C7 and think it's the best compromise (30-35%). It's just dark enough that you don't have to have sunglasses on when it's bright & sunny but not so dark that it limits visibility in the evenings. And it does a good job keeping the interior of your car cooler when the sun's out.

Aaron, very good. From the first visit with Diamond, the sales guy relayed their 35% tint material (Xpel) lands at the edge of the state's tint law limit of 24% VLT. He could go darker, but that was up to me. Appreciate learning about your experience. Thanks.

Another vote for Mino's shop Dealer Xpress in Auburn. He's tinted no less than 12 cars of ours in the last 15 years.

Fixing to have him do another one in the coming weeks actually.

Stopped in at Dealer Express and made an appt for next Wednesday. Better price and warrantee than Diamond. Thanks again for the pro tip. Ray, one of the technicians, is a Corvette guy.

l can totally say that I have never ever had a dealer xpress job fail in anyway. I've never had to return there for any follow up reason. I think you will leave 100% satisfied bhk.

I will be phoning in Monday morning to get an appointment for my sons newly acquired Crown Vic police interceptor. That should be a fun job for them.

Hey guys. Going to get my C7 done. Have an excellent installer my question is i'm going to do the drivers door and passenger side door for sure. What about those little windows behind the doors? What ya all doing?

Going with the 35% tint for all the side windows and rear hatch. They look dark enough already, but wasn't sure if I left them out of the job how that would look.

Looks good! And really cuts down on the glare inside the car.

Mr. Black 05-17-2019 10:20 PM

Pleasure meeting you good sir. I knew when I saw that car that it had to be you!

For a light tint percentage it looks fantastic.
