1988 Corvette Greenwood

1988 Chevy Corvette C4 with the Greenwood ground effects package. I have put a ton of money and time into this car to make it a nice ride. I will list a few of the things done here, contact me for more details and please watch the Youtube video link I have in this post as it will answer a lot of questions. I am the 3rd owner of this car, the 2nd owner had the car for over 20 years.
Medium Charcoal Metallic paint, only 1,046 of the 1988 Corvettes were this color and I've only seen one other. Medium grey interior with black leather seats which are in excellent condition. Power driver's seat, manual passenger seat. Z52 Sport Suspension package and quick ratio power steering. Handles amazing. The dash works perfectly, the colors are not faded or washed out like you see on a lot of the C4's.

The following is a partial list of what's new:
New tires with about 200 miles on them
New Powerstop drilled & slotted zinc plated rotors
New Powerstop brake pads
New Front Calipers
New Master Cylinder
New Corvette Caliper covers
Gas tank dropped and boiled, new fuel lines
New headlight motors
Upgraded headlights
New weatherstrip all around, including backlight (this alone was $500)
New Borla exhaust 2 years ago, sounds amazing ($1200)
New Radiator
New Water Pump
New Alternator
New Temp Sensor and Temp relays
New Fuel Injectors
New ABS Relay module
Rear hatch lifters have been replaced
New 8mm Spark Plugs
New battery w/quick disconnect

Some of the upgrades I have done:
Amp Power & Pulley underdrive kit
AIR pump delete kit
Jet Stage 2 Performance Chip
Open Air Filter Box with new K&N Filter
MAF sensor screen deleted (have original MAF if you want to re-install)
Smooth Power Coupler
MSD 6AL Ignition & MSD Coil
Swapped rear differential from the 2.59 the car came with to a 3.07
Nice aftermarket Alpine stereo system with 2 10"'s subs in the rear and upgraded speakers in the dash and rear sail panels. I have the original Delco-Bose head unit and speakers.

Things I know it needs: A/C does not blow cold. It's R12 so you would need to convert it to R134 I just never got to this. The Emergency Brake light is on, but the E-Brake is not engaged (though it is functional). This is a common C4 issue, again just never got to it. As I said the paint has a few rock chips and such. The Greenwood piece on the rear of the car needs a bit of tightening up. The OZ rims, which are made it Italy and quite rare, look nice but really could use a refinish to be perfect as there are a couple spots of pitting. The steering wheel has some nicks in it.

This Corvette fires up, runs great, and stops great. It sounds amazing and definitely gets attention. It's not perfect, nothing is, but as we know most C4's have lived a rough life and been beaten on. This one has not.

Awesome color but to clarify, is it a Greenwood Edition or a package of ground effects? Some do not know what Greenwood makes.

Might help your sale. :)

Good point! It is the Greenwood ground effects package, installed by Greenwood (not purchased as an aftermarket or NOS piece and then added on). But it's not a Greenwood G-350 or G-383. Sorry for any confusion!

Is it missing when you are driving it (in your vid),no heating issues? Didnt know hat color was offered in 88, interesting.

Correct rare color only 1,046 produced for 1988 and I've only seen one other. I hear the sound you're talking about in the video it was the wind blowing on my crummy phone, I should probably re-shoot the video with the targa top on! Price is negotiable just weeding out the "I'll give you $5000" crowd. Thanks!
