C6 Grandsport Track Wheels.

I am looking to purchase a complete set of wheels for track days. The car is a 2010 Grandsport.

Do I look for OE Wheels or is there other brands that can take the stress of road course track days.

You can buy OE knock offs but I don't trust these wheels.

Prefer Black wheels to hide the brake dust.

Get forester f14 18x11 for the fronts and 18x13 for the rear, thatís what most people run here

These are wider than factory. No clearance problems ?

Also what tire sizes, factory are staggered with larger wheel dia vs front.

same for a c6 z06?

18" all around ? factory is 18" front 19" rear, So what tires to keep the traction control system happy ? front dia tires are less than the front.

I have always found as long as you keep the front tires shorter then the rear tires you're fine. I have run at different times up to a 2 inch spread between front and rear with the front being shorter and I have never had any issues.

I happen to run a 315 30-18 front and a 345 35-18 rear and they work perfectly.

No Rubbing issues on the front with much wider tires. Any mods required to fit ? going from 9.5" wheel to 11"

What offset /backspacing spec to use ?

I am also looking into new track rims. Even the OE rims aren't high enough quality I feel. They can bend easy if hitting curbing on corners in track.
