so it's everyone else's fault the guy decided to get hammered drunk:skep:

ArtClassShank 05-14-2019 08:10 AM

Looks like a shot in the dark to me. Hoping for a nice settlement out of court perhaps?

Nobody's fault here except the drunk.

MSG C5 05-14-2019 08:15 AM

Hmmm. Alcoholic who's going through rehab, working as a bartender and drives a Corvette. What could possibly go wrong? Not everyone can pull it off like Sam Malone. :D

Seriously, it's sad and I'm glad no innocent people were injured. However, another victim mentality story. Lawyer up Tiger.

That's the current state of America.

Yup, like the bartender FORCED him to have those last couple of drinks, and FORCED him to get in the car and drive off...….And of course, it's the media's responsibility to mention that the drunk got into a "high powered sports car", just to sensationalize the story, when in reality, a VW would have killed him just as effectively..... :willy:

jamesbii 05-14-2019 08:37 AM

I'm glad to see like minded folks here. Take responsibility for yourself.

Wade Wilbur 05-14-2019 08:44 AM

Here I've been wasting my life by working when I should have just found some reason to sue somebody.

DDaaryl 05-14-2019 09:08 AM

As usual THE LAWYERS WILL WIN!:woohoo:

glbeauchamp 05-14-2019 09:10 AM

If there is an indication of deep pockets, the leeches will come out.

Life’s good C5 05-14-2019 09:34 AM

Sad and unfortunate, again the “shark pool” makes this all possible. They have taken years to perfect the idea of there are no accidents and someone other than the perpetrator is responsible. Only the lawyers win.

jjc508520 05-14-2019 09:45 AM

Initial report of the incident...

SLOWRYDE 05-14-2019 10:08 AM

Not an indictment of the C5 Corvette or Tiger Woods.

Forcedvert 05-14-2019 10:38 AM

Has nothing to do with corvettes.... This should be in OT.

C5 4me 05-14-2019 11:21 AM

Stupid

He did a stupid thing & won a stupid prize:smash:Thank god no one else was hurt.

lunaticfringe007 05-14-2019 11:58 AM

The gene pool just got some chlorine.

mstromquist 05-14-2019 12:50 PM

Like stated before, glad no one else got hurt by someone's stupidity. If his family KNEW he was a drunk and had been through rehab, why on earth would they let him work at this place without trying to talk some sense into him about the temptations????? I don't like watching golf at all but I sure hope Tiger can get out of this mess. Not his fault at all.

Vetteman Jack 05-14-2019 01:14 PM

Hopefully the lawsuit gets thrown out. At some point individual responsibility has to take over.

Ahnenerbe 05-14-2019 01:59 PM

That would be nice, but I am sure there will be a settlement. Award the family for the stupid actions of 24 yo drunkard. Tiger, nor the Vette had anything to do with this, only the dead dumba** is to blame.

MikeG37 05-14-2019 02:39 PM

Counter sue the family for their negligence in not properly teaching their son how important wearing his seat belt was.

jackthelad 05-14-2019 03:57 PM

First Law of Ambulance Chasing Lawyers: Never mind whose fault it is, sue the person with the most money.
