C4 mild AutoX alignment?
 

Unfortunately, the C4 AutoX build got put on hold a little bit over the past few weeks due to life, and an unexpected Focus ST purchase that took the pressure off having it running for the first AutoX events, but I think it'll be done WRT suspension and brakes by this weekend.

First thing I want to do is get an alignment, so I can drive the thing to work while I piddle with the remaining stuff. Any recommendations towards adjustments outside of stock settings when having it done, that can edge it bit more towards racer on the AutoX courses? Only changes from stock was going from the FE1 to the Z51(ish) springs/shocks/bars. I want to keep it relatively road-useable, as it will be regularly making the 90-mile round trip journeys to work, I don't need to be chewing up tires on a regular basis.

Also, speaking of tires, I have two sets of wheels. One is the square 17" stock setup (AutoX intent), and one is a staggered 18/19" stock combo off a C6 (road intent). Is it better to have one or the other on the car when doing the alignment, or no issues either way?

It doesnt really matter, but I prefer to have the autocross tires on when doing the alignment. Just a peace of mind kind of thing.

I would get as much camber as you can in the front, but set the toe to 0. Toe kills tires more than camber. Try to maintain between 5-7° of caster making sure it is equal side to side.

Rear should be about -1° camber and about 1/16th toe in.

Those would be on the milder side, but still streetable. Ask if they can align it with you sitting in the car, or a bunch of weight in the driver seat.
