C5 intro
After a 17 yr affair with a 1967 roadster, I made the transition to a C5 in Jan 2017. Car #31747 had the usual C5 issues. But after an EBCM repair by ABSFixer, a new vacuum line to the HVAC, seat bolster repair, ranger clutch fluid bleed, LMC5, full synthetic trans and rear axle fluids and electrical ground cleaning and upgrade,

Thanks to Evil Twin, Pounder, Vetteman Jack, and a few others. Car is 17 yrs old today, celebrating by living the dream. Heading to the NCM in the morning. Hidden headlights and round tail lights. Save the wave. |

Very nice. Big change going from a C2 to a C5.
'67 roadster is my favorite year and favorite body style for the C2. |
Great looking C5 you have there. I know you will enjoy it a lot.

Welcome- beautiful car- my favorite color.
Can you describe the electrical ground cleaning and repair? Is that the wiring to the starter that gets referenced often? Thanks JMP |

I cleaned all engine compartment grounds and re assembled them with dielectric grease. The ground points by the left and right door hinges I cut free, soldered together with #10AWG tails and connected back to the chassis points. Fixed my instrument panel lights, pwr window operation and twilight sentinel flicker.
