Just installed headers
 

I have a 2009 base corvette. Just installed headers on my car and now I need to have it tuned. Everywhere I'm calling is quoting $500+ on street tunes and $1000+ on a dyno tune. Maybe its just the area I'm in (Detroit, MI area) but I've never seen prices like that on tuning, especially for just a nearly stock tune. Am I better off just ordering a handheld or can anyone recommend a tuner in the Detroit area that can do a street tune?

Wow, those do seem pretty high, especially on a C6 for something so basic. They must be busy. I usually can't get away with charging that much in this area.

I don't have any recommendations up in that area though unfortunately. For basic mods like that I don't think the handhelds are a bad option.

That’s what I’m thinking too. I’ve been calling around everywhere and the best I’ve gotten so far is $400 for a street tune.
