Scary looking engine movement

I was doing a WOT run in my 2001 w/ A&A 3.8, ECS small blower cam and stock tranny and rear. Hooked a Go Pro up to the windshield and this is what I saw. I don't know if this is an effect of the Go Pros image stabilization or if my engine is about to fly out the top. Bad mounts? Weird camera effect?

Looks okay-ish to me, it's meant to move. You can watch a dozen YouTube videos of Dyno runs on various cars with engines dancing around just like that.

Rubber mounts pushing 20 years old (build date of your car).

I’d change them.

Your mounts are definitely shot. That's way too much movement. A decade ago I was chasing my tail after putting a new motor in my car, and I suddenly had a all RPM vibration. Thought it was the motor. By chance leaned on it (standing over the engine bay) one evening, and saw the motor rock just from my weight. Turned out that my mounts were gone and I had a turbo housing rubbing the frame in the tunnel. See below for the fix.

Love mine. Been in the car since 2009.

Have gig changed your mounts? Looks like you answered your own question.
