A friend got me thinking. He just bought a Canadian C5 Z06. It' s being shipped; it was an out of town car. Long way out of town.
Old life crisis sitting in...I'm interested again.

Question though....Z06's...do the 6 speeds have skip shift like my '06 C6/z51/6 speed had? That drove me nuts.

If you are talking about a c5 Z06 then yep it does. You can either have it tuned out or get a CAGS skipshift eliminator. I ended up tuning it out and have a never taken out of the bag CAGS should you decide to re-enter the foray of vette ownership.

Thanks! I never got around to defeating it with my C6/speed; I wish I had.

I m not sure why it needs to be tuned out or eliminated,
Only comes into play when not feeding fuel to it, not sure how this happens. Never had it removed from any of my cars. One is standing on the wrong pedal if it is a problem for them.

Al, you have been on my road you can't get up any speed because of the gravel and bumps. First gear does not work so well but it won't go up the hill in fourth. It was a PIA.

More than that, I hate it when guvmint takes our cars and makes them less fun to drive.

Go for it. Aside from the skip-shift thingy they are very nice cars. I would say there isn't another model out there that is as unique and affordable.
