Will an '09 base HU fit in a "91 C4?
 

I have a recently purchased '91 vert that has an inop Bose system, which I knew when I bought it. My '09 has the base non-Bose HU with Rockford Fosgate speakers. I'm thinking about upgrading the '09 system to something with nav and putting the base HU in the '91 along with new speakers. I figure that way I just spend a little more than just putting a new unit in the '91 and I can upgrade the '09.

I'm not sure I want to do this, but I'm wondering how feasible it is, both from a physical fit perspective as well as wiring. If I did it, I would want to have the Bluetooth call feature active, so I'd have to hook some kind of microphone to it.

Is fitting the '09 HU into the '91 more trouble than it's worth?

Not possible. The 09 radio is integrated with the BCM of theC6 for both the base and Bose radios.
