Lights go on like i hit the key fob and hazards clicking sound when on
 

Hello my fellow C4 owners

sorry if i take long to reply so thank you in advance for any input.


My 94 makes the sound like the hazards are on/turn signal clicking and my outside lights (tail lights and front lights) and dash lights go on and off like i hit my key fob to arm/disarm. It goes on for a bit then stops then on and off again for a bit. It will stop if i hit the disarm on my key fob but it will happen again. After driving for a bit it sometimes doesn’t do it anymore. It drives me crazy sometimes but everything works ok (hazards, turn signals etc etc)


have any of you had something to similar to this happen? What was it?

You must have an aftermarket system. Anyone's guess as to what the problem may be.

Good question, do you have the factory pke fob or an aftermarket alarm/keyless entry system? I have an aftermarket system, and occasionally would have similar strange issues such as the hatch randomly popping and the locks sometimes locking/unlocking on their own. It seemed that the factory pke antenna was occasionally picking up on some random signals. I pulled the pke fuse and haven’t had any issues since.
