1986 Fuel line knock
I have had a 1986 Corvette for well over 25 years and it’s always had this knock in the back sounds like it’s coming from the rear passenger tire area. Only on a cold start and after 10 mins it’s gone. Although it also has a sort of fuel stutter or something (might be an unrelated defect), if I I have the automatic transmission in overdrive. The overdrive stutter only happens from 50 mph and below and is not there if have the transmission in just standard D. Both of these issues irritate the fuck out of me (lol). Does anyone know anything about this? I am pretty sure it’s an engineering defect on the 1986 C4 I have aluminum heads, don’t think that matters. Here is a video of some guy mentions the fuel line knock defect. I stumbled across it today. I don’t know if both defects are related. Any help is greatly appreciated!
