Leaky shocks at 5,300 miles

I have a 2015 z06 never driven in the rain, never driven in snow, stored in a heated garage and at 5300 miles the front shocks are leaking bad and the rear shocks are starting. Crazy you can't get more than 5500 miles out of them and of course the car is out of warranty

Lots of great deals on parts for the c7z and our other daily drivers at rockauto!

I ordered a set of 4 a few days ago, they arrive tomorrow and I'll attempt the install next weekend. Here's a thread I started about the magnetic shock failures here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...k-failure.html

Blah that sucks, why waste your money putting oe crap on that is prone to failure

1000 miles a year. Probably needs to be driven more. Good luck with the install

has anyone ever install a non adjustable shocks and do away with their Magnetic shocks , will it throw a code ?
Reason I’m asking is if one day mine leaks and out of warranty I’d just get me a set of Bilstein or Koni

You'd need these: https://afepower.com/afe-control-436...mall-connector

I wouldn't go as far to say they are "prone" to failure. In the 5 year history of the C7 there haven't been that many threads on it.
