Mobil One " High Mileage"
 

My 94 with an LT1 and 90k miles has developed a small oil leak. I have been using the standard Mobil One. The Mobil One high mileage contains seal conditioners according to its labeling .It also is missing some of the other performance designations that are on the other versions(which may not be important). Is their any reason I should not use the high mileage version? Thanks

Its basically the same xtuff with some extra additives. No reason to not use it. Heck, some weights only come in high mileage now.

all LT-1 have a oil leak at some time. but your oil choice did not cause it.

My '96 also has a minor oil leak and I put the High Mileage flavor in it this spring (albeit not to address the leak). I noticed no change in performance or the leak with the high mileage stuff.
As they say, if it's not leaking.....then it's out of oil. :thumbs:

What is the source of the leak?

If at the china wall I doubt anything will fix it save a reseal of the area. Similar if it's a valve cover gasket.
