I recommend you do a search on this very topic. It's been discussed a gob-zob-lazillion times. You will find that the C6Z OEM parts are a very cost effective upgrade along with lowering.

I put Z06 shocks on the car since the electronic adjustables were so expensive . . . .the shop then went into the ECU and programmed out the F55 feature and taped off the connections.

No problems with codes or speed limiters.

C6Z shocks is what I went with and has been a fantastic upgrade. I also went with the Johnny O'Connell front and rear sway bars with metal endlinks that came with it. Car handles on rails now.

I've heard good things about those I'd like to get a pair eventually but it's a little more that I wanna spend on a set of sway bars currently Haha

Noted I'll be sure to get that done if I go that route thank you

Do you currently have the F45?

pcfred 06-12-2019 11:19 PM

C6 Z06 shocks, C5 Z06 sways, Moog endlinks, stainless brake lines while you're under there.

Phanni 06-13-2019 10:08 AM

C6Z shocks, sways, and metal end links is the most cost effective best upgrade. Roughly $300.

Maxx_Z06 06-13-2019 10:28 AM

I'll be having a full set of Moog end links for sale with like 10 miles on them lol if you're interested. Great end links for sure but turns out I need something adjustable. PM me if you're interested.

Wait and save until you can afford it. Seriously. If there is one thing I have learned when it comes to cars is buy/do it right the first time. In the long run it will save you money. There's nothing worse than buying a part only later to realize that you are removing that very part to replace the "upgrade" you bought the first time.

Add C5Z springs and you're set.

I put on Steinjager front and rear sway bars with the HD end links a couple of years ago. The are the same size as C6 Z06 bars:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Steinjager-...UAAOSwSL5cdbHw

The price has gone up considerably since I got mine--I think I only paid like $230 delivered. They made a nice improvement
over my base (soft) suspension.

Keep in mind what tires you have will make a difference too. I went to non-run flat tires this year and the car drives so much better!

C6 Z shocks and sway bars will make a nice difference in how your car handles and the price is very reasonable.
