100% reproduction Trim Tag, and 95% sure it is a re-stamped block.

Good luck,

Steve

Trim tag rivets are wrong. The supporting window sticker is fake too. Real window stickers don't have Chevrolet in italics. Highly optioned car with suspect documentation makes the everything suspect. The color combo especially because it is also highly desirable now

Ok thanks
is there anything visible with the engine stamp that is suspect or you suspect it would also be a fake because of everything else.?

I am no expert.

I am wondering why if it is a fake window stickker they would put N11 instead of N14 side exhaust which is on the car now.

If GM was ever able to produce real records the entire C2 Corvette market would be turned on its head.

I think to be fair here, the seller never said it was the original window sticker. Twice in the ad text it says the car comes with "a window sticker" and an owners manual.

Lets not start accusing the seller of stuff he's not actually doing.

Update... in the chat someone asked him about the window sticker and he said "In regards to the Window sticker. There is a window sticker that came with the car when we purchased it for our private collection. The picture you see in the gallery is of that window sticker with the rarity of this car with the numbers that is writing on the copy and not the original one. Both come with the Corvette if you are the winning bidder."

So, as stated in the ad text, he says its "a window sticker" not "the" window sticker.

This thread has really gotten off the path of the OP looking for a BB car. It might be best to move the discussion on the car in question to the general section and let the guys add go back to normal.

Fair point. I removed comments not specifically related to the car and left those that were in the event the OP is using that information. I can delete more if he wants. At any rate, we can move on from that car and onto other suggestions for him.

I posted in the companion thread to this one that there is a car in the Corvette registry with the same VIN that is shown as having been built with a a 300HP 327 and not a black/red car.

You should check your facts.
The BAT car is a 66, and not in the C2 registry.
