Sniper EFI gas tank filler neck issue in 75

Afternoon,

My mechanic, who is currently installing a 383 and 5-speed in my 75 texted me this afternoon about the Tanksinc gas tank. I purchased the 1968-74 tank off the Holley website to go along with the Sniper EFI system. My understanding was that the tank would work...but that the straps would be an issue.

For those that swapped to an Tankinc EFI into a 1975 or later.....what filler neck did y'all use?

Thanks.

Most people use the 82 Vette tank.

An 82 tank will only fit into the 78 - 82 bubble back C3.

TO O.P. What kind of problems are you having fitting this tank into your 75? Providing a description (or pictures!) of the problem will get you much more response.

This is the tank I used. It fit perfectly. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...s/parts/19-148

Yeah, but I think you have a '68. What kind of filler neck does one use for a '75-'77 vette with that tank? Thanks.

Just a guess but this shows the filler neck connected to the sending unit. So I'm guessing one would have to go with a exterior pump and drill a 3/8" return to the tank ? Although it is said 5/16" can work for the return. If I'm way off base here please educate me.:flag:

Yo caskiguy, by filler neck I mean the part in which you shove in the gas station nozzle :)
Is that tank's opening compatible with a '75 - '77 vette? I should have asked J.Abbott that question in this thread: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1598666030

74 filler and mods to the straps/tank to make it work.
