Screwed on parts from Corvette Specialties of MD West

Just bought a set of stock side pipe covers from "Corvette Specialties of MD West" out of Palm Desert, CA. Haven't installed them yet and noticed two drill holes in the middle of one cover. Called up the owner Brian Tilles, who immediately got defensive and said they did not leave here like that. The weird thing is that the fiberglass backing isn't even scratched from the holes, so it had to be before the backing was installed. Anyway, he isn't going to even discus the possibility that I didn't do this to them. Lots of money for screwed up parts. |
Easy: if you paid for them with a CC, just contact your CC company & explain the situation & they should reverse the charges. That's total bullshit.

Great idea, I will.
I wish I would have proof read my tread better. I meant, "screwed up" parts! Cheers |
Just for some balance. I had a good experience with Brian when I was having a fit with repro 63 fuel gauges. He stood behind his product in my case.

Contact your credit card company and lodge a formal complaint. The dealer will respond to their query, as he absolutely cannot afford to be placed on their watch list Good luck...and update us on the resolution |
