Black GS Wheels 5k Miles No Damage - Maryland
Corvette Fam,
I upgraded my wheels this year to so aftermarkets to give it a different look. As are result I am offloading my black GS wheels after 5,000 miles with no damage/rash. If you are interested, drop me a PM. Asking 1000 plus actual shipping charges for UPS ground. The wheels will be shipped in reinforced wheel boxes to desired location. The wheels will come with center caps but not the TPMS. If you are in Maryland, VA, PA, DC, West VA and are in a reasonable driving distance, I can certainly meet up with you and do a hand off. Drop me a line and let me know what your thoughts are! https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...34b9794b8a.jpg |

Check your private messages, I returned the couple that I received.
Thanks for looking! |
I also have a CE and I have just under 6k miles on my car. The wheels look like they were dragged down a rocky road. I have chips and pitting everywhere, especially in the corners.
Do your wheels have any pitting? I go to clean my wheels and cringe every time because they look horrible. Went to GM, they refuse to replace them. I drive to car shows and some mountain cruises and have done 3 track days. Sorry for the long winded speech but just trying to figure out how "mint" these wheels are or if they have some pitting/chips. Thanks! |

No pitting or chipping, I will post pics of the wheels tonight in their boxes. They were kept clean and I switched to a low dust brake pretty early on to reduce brake dust from causing issues from it getting caked on.
Standby for more photos tonight. Ken |

Thanks Ken! I have low dust pads too, I'm just not sure why mine got so destroyed. I thought about getting them powder coated, but then i have to jack car up, remove 4 wheels, take to a shop to have tires taken off the wheels, take wheels for powder coating, then get tires put back on, and then reinstall. It's quite the process lol

Sorry to be a pain, but any close ups of the corners on the spokes? That is where I have the most pitting. I'm OCD so I believe you when you say they are mint. I think that's the light reflecting on some of the spoke faces that look like scratches.
Thanks! |
