Anyone watching Lemans? C7.R has a shot

It’s a long shot, but they are 15 seconds behind the 2nd and 3rd place Porsche’s and turning faster lap times. Could it be one more podium finish for the front engine car?

Yep, watching and never miss it. There's more than 10 hours to go, and a lot of cars still on the lead lap. Porsche and Ford have 3-4 cars respectively on the lead lap.

edit: just looked at that app and it is the same as whats being broadcast on Motor Trend Ch maybe they are not simulcasting the in car camera like previous years

Hope the C7-R can at least get a podium finish and even better a class win.

The 64 corvette had the only in car camera and unfortunately it crashed so thats probably why.

The #63 is in 1st and holding on to it. They have a real shot. You can get a free 14 day trial of motor trend TV if you want to watch it.

63 car spun, hit wall, damage, while in 1st. They had to sit and wait to enter pits. Lost 2 laps, now in 8th. Unlikely to podium with 3 hrs left.

It was actually a little different. They were way out front just trying to save fuel with a >10 second lead. They went to the pits, and then a guy went off track into the wall. Because there are 3 pace cars at LeMans and the rules are wonky, they had to sit stopped at the end of the pits for several minutes while waiting for the second place Ferrari to eventually be given a 2:50 lead. Then, when things went green, the car had absolutely no heat in the tires (remember, required to sit stopped), the rear end got lose, and they hit the wall.

GTE pro was an incredibly close race decided (on multiple occasions) by those crazy safety car rules. Still a good effort though, fun to watch.

This is so disappointing after all those efforts, i am very proud of the Corvette team though

 That sucked. For the first time in a few years, I thought Corvette had the car to win, I think they had everybody covered and the race would've been between the #63 Corvette and the #51 Ferrari for the win, they were the class of GTE-Pro.
