There is no better extended coverage than GM Major Guard. I just Googled their website... "With GM Major Guard, virtually every component of your vehicle is covered in the event of mechanical failure beyond the warranty period - even if caused by wear and tear "

Bumper to bumper warranty can only transfer 1 time from 1st to 2nd,
so I don’t believe you can transfer anymore. |

I called &verified the GM Major Guard warranty to June 2022 is transferable for $50 and must be done within 30 days of the sale. I had a copy of transfer form emailed to me if you wish to see it. Sorry for the slow response, Dave

The radar detector mounts on the center console at the 12 volt outlet location?

Yes, the radar/laser detector-jammer control is located to the riight of the auto transmission shifter. I usually keep it closed & turn the volume down.
