Is the stinger hood original to the car? If not, do you have the original hood?
|
IndyPace, what do you have in the way of documentation that shows what options were embodied in the car when it left the factory? Thanks.

Good luck with your sale. |
Hey guys, I'm using this example to learning more about how to decode engine stamp information (for my own benefit) and for the seller, a chance to elaborate on the engine stamp information... Please correct me when and where my decoding skills below are incorrect :)
If my eyes are working correctly, the 1st part of the engine stamp reads "7104228". If I understand things correctly, then "7" infers a model year of 1967? And "104228" relates to the serial number of the VIN (which in this case match)? If my eyes are working correctly, the 2nd part of the engine stamp reads "V1109HP". It really looks like "VII09HP". Am I interpreting that this part really reads "V1109HP", where the I's are really the number ones? If V1109HP is correct, then does this mean that this part of the engine stamp decoded infers the following? V = Flint plant 11 = November 09 = the 9th day of the month HP = HP327L79 350 1x4BC, Hi-Lift Cam, A/C, P/S & 4-Speed Thanks. |
