Is the stinger hood original to the car? If not, do you have the original hood?

CADbrian 06-17-2019 06:18 PM

IndyPace, what do you have in the way of documentation that shows what options were embodied in the car when it left the factory? Thanks.

Elkhart Blue with the teal blue vinyl What a shame as I think that is a better color combo. Any way good luck with sell

now the picture shows its white with red vinyl

IndyPace 06-17-2019 08:34 PM

No. It is an original not after market but did not come with with car as it is a big block hood.

IndyPace 06-17-2019 08:35 PM

Sorry. Photo of car I was looking at last year. New one posted with engine stamp as well.

IndyPace 06-17-2019 08:37 PM

Tank sticker on a piece of old tank.

IndyPace 06-17-2019 08:53 PM

See new photo

IndyPace 06-17-2019 08:55 PM

Sorry buddy but tank sticker shows 350 HP 02L79A Turbofire. Don't dis a car unless you know what you are talking about

IndyPace 06-17-2019 09:02 PM

Hey guys, I'm using this example to learning more about how to decode engine stamp information (for my own benefit) and for the seller, a chance to elaborate on the engine stamp information... Please correct me when and where my decoding skills below are incorrect :)

If my eyes are working correctly, the 1st part of the engine stamp reads "7104228". If I understand things correctly, then "7" infers a model year of 1967? And "104228" relates to the serial number of the VIN (which in this case match)?

If my eyes are working correctly, the 2nd part of the engine stamp reads "V1109HP". It really looks like "VII09HP". Am I interpreting that this part really reads "V1109HP", where the I's are really the number ones?

If V1109HP is correct, then does this mean that this part of the engine stamp decoded infers the following?
V = Flint plant
11 = November
09 = the 9th day of the month
HP = HP327L79 350 1x4BC, Hi-Lift Cam, A/C, P/S & 4-Speed

Thanks.

You are correct. That's what I saw also.
