I bought a 1980 Red L82 from HCC last month:

RJ has removed it from the SOLD page I see.

Well, her is the problem: RJ never mentioned some key issues with the VET.

1 - Speedometer doesn't work
2 - Horn doesnt work
3 - no door lock keys
4 - no spare tire
5 - Trans leaks more than it should
6 - or the puddy knife stuck in the front drivers side wheel to keep the valve stem from leaking = flat tire
7 - car has AC - NO - belt is not there = doesn't work

His response to me was "what do you expect from a 40 yr old car"

Very dissappointed in this transaction. Already spent $1300, and now is at a garage to fix the major stuff.

I get it as is, which he threw in my face but, he could have mentioned the obvious issues = THESE THINGS DIDNT JUST GO BAD WHEN I FIRST TURNED ON THE CAR...

5 yrs of following his website was for nothing. Hopefully after I pour a ton of cash into this, Lil' Red C3 will be ok.

PS - I still can't believe he pulled it off his sold page = prob because I told him I will be making a complaint to the BBB when the car is safe to drive

My cousin lives near there and sent me this after some investigating:
I checked from what I’ve been told you really have to know your stuff. They know how to cover things up just to get the vettes’s sold. The dealers around that area kinda do a lot of ‘horse trading‘. One person I know that deals in very high end vehicles has never heard of this place. He has been dealing in high end vehicles for over 40 yrs. I didn’t get a warm fuzzy about that place. Good luck with everything you’re dealing with.

Like you said they know how to make one look really nice to sale them. Hate it for you man...Robert
