Scam Alert
 

I responded to a post on C7 parts for sale by ELRODRI . Post dated 5/26/19 chrome Z06 wheels with jake center caps in perfect condition. I purchased these wheels through PayPal for $1100.00 with shipping. They arrived at my home on 6/20/19. Shipping boxes were intact. Upon inspection the wheels were corroded ,pitted and the copper was showing through the chrome. I took them to a wheel and tire store for their opinion. They said they were ruined and the only thing I could do was to have them Chromed again. These wheels were advertised as in perfect condition. The seller will not respond to multiple text and emails. Anyone buying from this forum member should beware. I have purchased many items including a car from forum members without problems. This is how one member can diminish trust for many good people.

Hope you didnt do this as a gift, But still if you used a credit card go back on it you still can get a refund that way... Robert

Buyers Beware
 

I purchased in good faith a set of 4 Z06 chrome wheels from forum member ELRODRI that were posted for sale on this forum on 5/25/19 as in perfect condition. I received them 6/20/19. Upon inspection they apparently been left for some time covered with brake dust and the chrome was completely ruined and pitted. I have tried for several day to contact him but all texted have been ignored. This member as I found out too late had misrepresented a 2015 corvette convertible for sale on the corvette for sale section.

This is a warning to all DONOT buy from this forum member. I have over the years made several purchases from this forum members with great success. It’s a shame for one person to put a black mark on a group of great people.

I hope this goes to new post so everyone can see a scammer. I’ve started a dispute with credit card company and PayPal. This was in C7 parts.
