anyone with E-Force tuner kit experience?
currently working on a can of worms project(aren't they all?). 2005 vette with MP112. Adding 1 7/8 headers turned into installing a cam, turned into pulling heads for lifter replacement, turned into sending the heads out for porting, turned into pulling the shortblock for forged pistons/rods and also swapped stock fuel pump for a 07+ Z06 pump with racetronix harness incorporating the existing KB BAP. Now I'm thinking, well the MP112 is pretty much maxed out and it looks like I can score a E-Force stage 3 tuner kit #1595 for relatively low money considering what I'd think I can get for the MP112. What are the ballpark HP capabilities of the E-force?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I am thinking that an Edelbrock E-Force SC is not really going to be much of an upgrade over the Magnuson MP112 'Magnacharger' SC that you already have.
Not much of a "bang for the buck" return if you ask me. |

A TVS2300 is worlds better than an MP112. I've had a couple of both. Actually three TVS2300's. Being an A6, you're probably looking at low to mid 600's for power the way you're equipped, depending on altitude. Yes, you absolutely can get more, but the law of diminishing returns is creeping up on you pretty fast at that HP level. A 3.25" blower pulley should fit the bill. The next size smaller (3")will probably necessitate a fuel system upgrade and maybe a meth system.
Now, if you want to go apesh!t, do a flex fuel rig. 3" pulley would probably work well there. Upper 600's for power. But, you're looking at needing a fairly substantial fuel system upgrade. In other words, speed costs money...how fast do you want to go? If you want much more power than that, invest in a centrifugal blower. Much easier and cheaper to go past those numbers. |
