Need a mechanic

Recently bought a 1993 vette, does anyone know a good mechanic near Oceanside or San Diego, CA that knows about LT1s? I can’t find any problems with it yet and seems to run fine but I’d like to get it checked to find any possible problems

Welcome to Camp Pendleton, and to the Corvette Forum! Are you ready for Operation Information Overload? Here's your answer: http://northcoastvettes.org/

(I go on base regularly. Can't beat that ocean front location!)

Why not do it yourself? I used to work on my Vette at my Fort's shop. They had lifts, jacks, tools to borrow and even scan tools.
Do an internet search on how to do a pre purchase inspection on your year's car. There are several sites such as You Tube that do a very good job with this.
If all else fails then go to McJack's Corvette just a couple hours North of you. They have the knowledge, skill and good reputation.

They have a nice DIY auto shop on base, but they do charge to use it.
