Admiral Blue 1994 -

Is this car valuable or only the ZR-1?

Vetteman Jack 07-09-2019 12:07 PM

Moved to C4 General.

Yes it has a value. Valuable all depends on your perspective.

Peabois 07-09-2019 01:45 PM

Should I be looking for a Competitive Yellow instead? Does the admiral blue color make it more valuable- they did make over 1500 that yeay

I wouldn't say its any more valuable than any other 1994. It is a good color to have though, one of the prettiest blues ever on a corvette.

ZR1 will always be more value.

Thanks

do you think 8500 too much to pay for 108K miles?

FAUEE 07-09-2019 03:04 PM

Too little info to decide. In general, no if it's in very good shape.

Color is more about preference. You're not going to get any more money when you sell it for a rare color. Desirable, maybe. I do like comp yellow on the c4, it would make me more likely to buy, but probably not to pay a premium.

Is there a difference between 1994 and 1995 Corvette models? Which is better?

Mr. Peabody 07-10-2019 12:44 PM

Ah ..... if you have not bought your C4 yet I would suggest that you invest $20.00 and get yourself a copy of Mike Antonick"s "Corvette Black Book" there are 2 - 3 pages for each and every year of Corvette and it becomes very easy to understand what changes and improvements were made year to year. You can also see how equipment that was optional in early years becomes standard equipment in the later years of C4 production.

Example the J55 big brake option became standard equipment for 1995. Fuel injectors that were better to handle corn oil in our gasoline were introduced in 1995. In my view 95 is the BEST year for C4 but........ I am very biased.

Thanks for the response- very helpful.

Always get the newest you can afford as a general rule.

But there isn't very much difference between the two years.

I don't think 8500 is too much for a good car at 104K. If the seats are good and everything works, paint is all good, buy it.

Loved my Admiral 94’ still one of my favorite colors

94 and 95 were basically the same car except for slightly upgraded brakes and fuel injectors on the 95

Take a look at the 94 Copper vert for sale here by RIBS. He has a great reputation and seems to take excellent care of his vehicles. It is a rare color and will stand out easily from other cars at a show and shine.
