vent windows 65 roadster

Just received my restored vent windows from Charlie Santorelli. They look great and it was a short turnaround time.

Yep . . . Charlie did one of mine - he's first class for sure!

Charlie is definitely one of the good guys... did my vent window chrome, window regulator, and seat belts. And helped in other ways as well.

Is the dismantling of the door, removing the vent window and putting everything back together difficult?

I'm far from a Corvette expert and I don't consider it too difficult.

How do you pack these so they are not damaged during transit? Any pics?

Charlie is great with stainless resto for many C-1 and C-2 parts like window frames, chrome door posts for the C-1's and of course his specialty, seat belts. He made me up a very nice set of custom belts using original style webbing on buckles of my chioce. I like that he will work with you on the level of restoration you need. (anything form driver to NCRS) Highly recommended  Pilot Dan

I covered each with bubble wrap from my Target store. I placed each in a small cardboard box and placed both boxes inside one larger box. I filled all the voids inside the large box with newspaper. Don't forget to insure them for the value to replace them if damaged.

This is very helpful.
