1984 crossfire questions
 

Hey everyone I just purchased my first Corvette, it's a white 1984 with the crossfire engine. I was looking into the future to possibly install that renegade intake along with headers and delete the smaug pump. My question is if you delete the air pump will the O2 sensor be messed up or run lean with out the extra air in the exhaust? Do you need a tuned computer and if so where would you buy one?

No, it will run OK. The AIR tube going down to the CAT is to help get the CAT hotter in closed loop and the other lines just go to the exhaust tubes. If you removed the AIR system it will be easier to mount an external fuel pressure regulator as well. Good luck with your mods and if you do buy a Renegade, buy it through Summit.
