I am going to go out on a limb here and say that I do not think we need a new thread every day telling us when the reveal will happen. I think we get it.

I'm game - I've been closely following the C8 development since the beginning. I was daily scanning for C8 updates when it was still part of the C7 forum, so I am pretty stoked about the reveal in 8 days.

Thanks for doing the math there, OP. I don't think I could have handled it. Too complicated.

What I'm not sure I can handle is the void of real information in the next week driving the need to fill it with incredibly stupid anticipatory speculations between now and then.

Maybe somebody needs to post a count down clock.....

I can see where the styling would appeal to non-Corvette owners and folks who dislike the Corvette in favor of foreign sport cars. Maybe that is their target market? As a Corvette owner, the camo prototype styling is hideous in my opinion. I’m sure I would like the performance but not sure I’ll ever be able to stomach the way it looks much like I cringe when I see the taillights in the C7 to this day. It feels good to have a Corvette in the Driveway or Garage. I don’t think I would even feel Iike I had a Corvette.

I have had 21 lifetime Vettes. All with the long hood, short deck. All have been manual. At 72 I am ready for something new. The C8 will be it.

It aint no more Corvette just some gm nerd engineers trying too hard.

This is such a tired response. I guess since the first corvette had an inline 6 that the rest were not corvettes either, right?

I am very excited about the new C8 Corvettes and watch the net everyday for news about them. I will buy one unless there is some big time deal breaker reason...(like it won’t fit in my garage)...can’t wait.... make me a Yellow one.....

Is it really much of a reveal surprise we have just about undressed the camo to the hilt. I hope will be a home run so can get a good trade in maybe.
