I'd like to see someone print us up an Aventador style bumper for the c7. I've seen photos, but they all look photoshopped.

It is using a corvette v8 engine....if you read the article in the link.

So the claim is he is 3D printing the car, but they don't show a single picture of any 3D printed part as it is already all covered with carbon fiber? That's pretty lame. It is, however, a pretty neat project as printing out pieces of body panels, gluing them together, then strengthening them seems like a simple way to form them. It certainly sounds quicker than forming them by hand out of metal, especially if you don't build metal panels for a living.
