1992 bose stereo relay location
 

Hi does anyone know the location of the bose stereo relay location. radio lights up no channels screen blank checked fuses ok Thanks John

In my FSM for 1991, the amplifier relay is on the driver's side of dash (under) between the column and the trans tunnel. There are two relays close together. The one closest to the trans tunnel is the amp relay. You have to remove the panel covering the underside of the dash first. There is a wire attached to it for lighting. Usually, the relays are the same so you can substitute one for the other to check if one is bad. My radio does not function either but the former owner gave me a new receiver which is a real bear to replace. So, just saying, it might be a preamp issue. Hope yours is a quick fix.

Bose amplifier relay is located under the dash on the driver’s side, to the right of the steering column. I think you test all wiring. You can prefer this link to find the solution.
