1996 console question
 

I recently purchased a 1996 Corvette convertible. Upon looking at the console, I'm wondering if there's supposed to be something where that empty hole is to the left of the rubber grommet on the console door frame (picture attached). Another grommet that is missing perhaps? Thanks.

That's funny, I've had my car about 5 years now and never noticed that. I just went out to check mine, I have the same hole. On my console lid there's a locator pin on the front corner that goes down into that hole.
