Getting rid of cats on ARH headers
 
Hi all,

I purchased my 08 Z06 with ARH 1 7/8" headers with the high flow cats and the car is a little too quiet for my taste. What would be the best way to get rid of them? I thought about taking it to a muffler shop and having them cut them out and weld in a new pipe.

May I suggest getting different mufflers? You don't say what you have now. To take out the cats has a very minor increase in horsepower and you will have the fuel smell. Im not trying to be that guy, but it's kind of illegal. Only mention that if you have inspections in your state...
