Looks like ELB, I was hoping like hell for a darker blue ala Caddy's Twilight Blue Metallic

Not this time... ELB is retained. The new blue will most likely mimic the CERV III (my avatar).

No clue... the 12 colors on the leaked configurator has 2 blues. One is listed as Elkhart Lake Blue which is an existing C7 color that came out for the 2019 MY and is very close to the earlier C7 blue 'Laguna Blue'. The other blue is listed as "Rapid Blue" which is believed to be the internal color name. A leak of the color with that name was found on a paint chip website.

CERV III prototype... hoping the new blue is very close to this.

It's making a blue fan out of me! I can't wait. I hope that's one of the reveal colors.

I know some people won't like it, but I really hope it's like this...

^^^ I'll take any light bright blue metallic. It can be as dark as Nassau or Jetstream or light like that or the color on some of the Miatas and even Dodge has a really nice light metallic blue. I just hope it's metallic and not a flat color.

Le Mans Blue and Admiral Blue are somewhat close. Below is a picture of my 06 LMB C6 Z06 and a C7 Z06 in Admiral Blue. AB is a little darker, but varies by lighting conditions. The AB below is taken in overcast conditions, and my C6 was shot on a very bright sunny day around noon the day I took delivery on 12/28/05.

LeMans Blue is the perfect Blue.

It is what most would call a "true blue."

My father hand a 2004 Z16 Z06. It looked good in bright sun, but was very dark in other lights. Not ask dark as the C5 navy blue of course.

Nice, hopefully it is similar to the nitrous blue Ford used on the Focus RS. I would love to see the Corvette with some brighter colors.

Nice color, but I don't expect it to be quite that light/bright; we shall see shortly.

with their new paint plant was really hoping better color variety selections like mclaren or other high end brands

I love the way SO has worked in the C7. I also love the mica paint that our BMW has. I'd also like to see Corvette with new and exciting colors and different mica-like blends

Nice ride. Mine was very similar. Still sad I sold it (needed money to buy my first house).

LeMans blue has been my favorite blue on a car since its inception.

In person LB looked too purple for me.
