possibility?

I can say with complete certainty that the thought never crossed my mind...
|
The clock in my 67 is right twice a day...
|
Why would you want to.
|
I put in an Air/Fuel gauge instead.

I'm still waiting for the 1st rebooted Star Trek's Nokia replacement phone/radio |
my clock works, not well but it works, I kinda like it as is, I understand those looking for some modern amenities, its just not what I'm looking for when I'm driving my car. i usually shut the phone off unless I need it and carry a small charging unit for the phone . as for tunes I don't really need tunes. again I'm speaking for myself, everyone is different.
|
I could see using one IF you had a radio delete car and wanted some tunes.
|
My clock works and the reason I own a vintage Vette is to enjoy a trip back to a simpler time. My modern Vette has enough of that stuff, I don't want it in an old car.

Well it wouldn't require any permanent mods, connect to your phone for call's and music streaming, clock would actually work. You could pull the old radio and make a plate to hold/charge your phone that covers the radio holes but also would not require any permanent mods. Or you could pay $600 + for a radio that fits your car and still would require a BT adapter for your phone. Hokey...

I put one in my 1967 coupe. The only thing that bugs me about it is when you shut the car off the radio shuts down completely. You have to turn the radio back on every time you start the car.

I’ve seen a couple in searches here. But if I recall correctly, they mounted where the stock radio was located.

how does it look?
Like I said, I just don't like the fact that I have 2 turn it back on every time I restart the car. If I get a chance I will take a picture and post it but it won't be until next week because I'm out of town. |
