I've been taking notice of Lincoln more with the brand putting focus on ride quality over sportiness like nearly all the other upscale brands. How happy have you been with the car overall, and how is the reliability?

It's an deluxe SHO.

Heated / cooled leather seats, rosewood trim dash, tri-coat paint, quiet, all kinds of cool options.
I have replaced tires, brakes (MORE ON THAT LATER) oil, filters, tires, wiper blades and battery in 4 years / 41,000 miles

In 2011 the brakes SUCK, I upgraded to Taurus police interceptor fronts / 60% more (rotors, calipers, pads, and shields) Now the brakes match the performance.

Lincoln did a brake upgrade in 2012, so I can't comment on the newer ones

It's a 4300# car and it handles as such. BUT, for a daily driver (year round) - it is a wonderful compromise. AWD in the snow is very nice.
Fits 4 adults, has a large trunk, decent audio and is rather comfortable. Build quality is much better that my corvette.

I pasted a white tail deer last November, there was big "thud". Deer was done and $5000 insurance claim.. it was an expensive thud, but the car is SOLID.

These were expensive new (upwards of $52,000) I paid 22,000 with 49k on the odometer, I have seen them much cheaper than that.

I would think your 60' time would/could be better?? When I had my 2013 Audi S4 (it did have launch control with the dual clutch), it managed consistent 60' times in the 1.8's stock and 1.7's with a stage 1 piggyback tuner. If you could sub 2.0 that 60'..... that thing would probably go 13.50's. I know there are a number of tuning options for the 3.5L ecoboost engines that really make a huge difference in performance. I wouldn't doubt with a tune and good launch that you could see some 12 second slips!!!

Livernois tuning is all over it. I just don't want to dump $700 on tuning. It raises it from 350HP to 400HP / 400lbs/ft torque
It's all torque management, if you nail it at 15-20 MPH it goes like a scared rabbit and slams you back in the seat.

I was rather pleased with the ET; it's a grandpa car and does many things rather well.
