Do you have a quality pad that both stops well, and has less brake dust or is that even a thing? My OEM pads make keeping my wheels clean a nightmare.

For street use, yes it looks like he has a few options. In my opinion, Carbotech 1521's are the best bet...but also at the top end of the price range. If the 1521's are more than you'd want to spend, and you want a best bang for teh buck...a good quality pad at a very reasonable price that performs as well with less dust, I would look at the Stoptech Street Touring pads.

I'm sure he can make a good recommendation for you though.

Which model Corvette does the OP have?

I assume Z06 as the ZR1 ceramics are not dusty?

The Carbotech's are a good but $$ choice.

Hawk HPS/HPS 5.0 are mid-range and sacrifice less performance than the Stoptech Touring padlets and are 1 piece which seems to improve wear.

Careful with Stoptech. The Stoptech Sport are aggressive - but dusty. Centric Posi-Quiets and Stoptech Touring are the same material.

I'm looking for a set of pads that is just a step up from OEM pads on my z06. I don't mind the noise/dust. I see time trials twice a year, 3 or 4 twenty minute sessions each day. I was looking at the G-LOC R6 or the Cobalt XR3 since I only attend twice a year but could use some recommendations.

That is a tough place to navigate.

I have a C6Z and I like the HP+ on my car. Lots of bite - minimal squeal and I'd expect them to take a little bit of track use but just not too much.

You are really in that spot where the compromise is hard to predict.

Oh I said I didn't mind the noise or dust. It's just something I have to deal with so I don't mind it for the sake of performance.

I'd try Hawk HP+.
