Have audio/video of "fixed"heads? LS7

Anyone have this to compare to unfixed heads? Especially if you have a later build 11/12/13? Ls7 motor. Thx.

Have you try YouTube

When I got my Ahp heads (PM guides) done on my 2008 26k mile Z06, I was hoping there would be a huge difference in valve train noise. Honestly, it sounds just as loud as before. The valve train "tick" is extremely audible with the windows rolled up from 1500-2500 rpmish.

I know it's not the answer you were looking for, but maybe that might help some anxiety that I also felt after fixing the car. Curious what others have to say, because it's usually the opposite of my case, I think placebo but idk...

If you wanna try an quite the LS tick that’s gonna come from the correct sized push rod, and better lifters. The Johnson 2110 SLD are real nice drop ins 👍🏻🇺🇸

Thanks that's exactly the comment I was looking for. Loud before, loud after. So you really can't go by sound at all.

:)
