Withdrew from the C8
At first I was very excited about the new C8. That was a couple of months ago. Last week on business in Bowling Green, my passenger and I saw what we thought was a C8 on I 65 about a half a mile ahead. The closer we got, the more we were convinced it was the C8. We passed on the left ..... and.... it was the 2019 Camaro. From the rear, it is hard to tell the difference. Sad.

This ought to go well.

Did the OP have a deposit or just excited about the car?

I'm guessing just another tire kicker. |
Frees up one for the next person.

I was in our local grocery store parking lot, I saw a white ME car and thought it was a C8, turned out it was a Ferrari, Sad!

EVERY automobile brand shares certain styling cues between their models. My daily driver is a BMW 5 Class... even after owning the car now almost 2 years.. I still many times have a hard time telling a 4 class, 5 class and 7 class apart.. from the rear end they all could pass as a 5 Class in different lights or angles.
I bought the car because it was the car I wanted and what fits me well. I doubt the OP was ever serious about purchasing one if something as minor as this made him cancel his purchase. |

The amount of mouth-breathers on this forum that feel the need to start new threads cluttering the board with insignificant and often negative drivel is mind-boggling. |
EuroRod ??

Where's Jake with a gif? I would guess the one with Jeremy Clarkson shooting a can of spam but it may also be the flashing Breaking News.

Buy a Supra then... From the rear, it looks like no other toyotas.... Since that's great logic for making a car choice.

Cool story, bro. QUIT TROLLING.
The amount of mouth-breathers on this forum that feel the need to start new threads cluttering the board with insignificant and often negative drivel is mind-boggling. I'm sure there are other, non vocal or posting, members who have had the same reaction after seeing the C8. I personally never got the Camaro vs. Corvette tail light debate as (gasp) GM has been sharing designs and parts for years since both cars are mass produced. I like the C8 tail lights and was one of the few, that immediately liked the C7 tail lights. I just didn't argue every post with those who preferred round tail lights. This is the 3rd generational switch I've witnessed as a CF member and by far the C8 fan base seems the most easily offended if anyone posts a slightly negative comment about a car that no one has actually driven yet. |
EuroRod withdrew from the C8. Thats just wrong.
