Love that black and white one, reminds me of my '64......

Some good looking cars there
|
Very nice cars. I’m surprised the 53 didn’t do better. Sold for $160k.
|
Cool but...........
........where is Cristi and who’s the new bimbo? :seeya

Looks to me like the hobby - and interest in Corvettes - is alive and well. B-J has more entries this year than last, and that's will Mecum having their largest even the week before and 4 other auctions in the Scottsdale area at the same time.
Thanks for the pics! |
Something there for every Corvette enthusiast.
Thanks for the pictures. |

The new lady looks and sounds like someone’s Mom. :ack: I’m expecting her to pull up in a minivan soon. I guess she was reporting on NHRA or something. Amber Lee is on streaming. |

Is it typical for Jeff Hayes restomod builds to bring double the value of the normal LS custom restomod builds? There are some very nice C2 LS restos with C6 chassis gear for $200K. Jeff Hayes build with same gear brings $400+ C2's Wow.

Cristy is on other shows and is supposedly busy and on the road.

They had a lot of really nice cars there at the high end. A couple of black 63 coups went for between $230k to $340k they were resto mods. Both very well done. The one car with the odd stinger was a nice car but I'm not sure why they chose that color. One interesting point is that the silver restomod with the satin burgundy stinger sold last year for, I think, $300 plus but resold this year for mid hundreds... still a nice price...

Speaking of stingers, did you see the awful non-'67s with a stinger hood that was painted saddle tan? Now that about made me lose my lunch......
