Cool wraps spotted thus far

Love them or hate them wraps are definitely the trend in the Corvette world. Which ones do you like and which do you hate. Feel free to add to the list.

So what do people who wrap their cars do about the inside of the frunk, door jams, and under the hood?
Seems like it would be super ugly to have those differences in color in those locations.

A quality wrap will hit all those you mentioned, they strip off the trim and wrap those areas also

I have noticed many of them just leave the original color. This is why they often start with black cars if they plan to wrap.

Cool good to know. I haven't seen any pics yet of one that was wrapped with the doors or F/Trunk open.
One last question, (obviously Im thinking about doing this =) how do people handle damage to the wrap? In other words if my front gets damage how do they ensure the color matches on the fix?

Thanks sir!

Never cared for the mat appearance of a wrapped vehicle. That satin look does nothing for me, although I do see one that has a shiny sheen.

The silver one with the red mirrors looks incredible.

I agree; that is probably my favorite too. Second favorite is the black with red stripes.

The appearance is solely based on the finish you choose. You're correct, though, that it does appear that most who get their vehicle wrapped choose matte or satin finishes. I have seen gloss wraps, however, where you would never know the vehicle was wrapped.

Normally I'd be against this sort of thing but that's pretty great.

The rest of them are awful.

I wonder what vinyl is used.

First two would be my choice the silver one and the green one.

Steve Garrett 05-01-2020 07:29 PM

Wow, all of them look terrific!

Myfourth1 05-01-2020 07:45 PM

The silver one but with a different color interior like Morello Red.

RobbyZ 05-01-2020 07:48 PM

They all look great! Ive never wrapped a car. How much does a mid range cost? I know like anything there will be wide range depending on material and shop. But average for a decent wrap? 3-4K?

For a wrap or the paint job? Both vary widely. A wrap can be $2 - $5k. A paint job $3k - $20k. The guy painting his green owns the shop so hard to say.
