Fire extinguisher

Not sure if a fire extinguisher would help if meth leaked a caught fire but..Which one do you use in your street car? What’s the best place to purchase one? Thanks!

AFFF extinguisher for sure. I bought the SPA 4L system with 2 engine bay and 2 cabin nozzles so that all I have to do is pull a handle and the nozzles do the work for me

Halon or Halotron, if you use a standard abc extinguisher it will leave a nasty mess afterwards

so you pull the handles and it pulls the pins? That’s cool!

You have to remove the pins for the system to be active but until you pull the handle the lines remain empty

I got the 4L tank and mounted it to the floor underneath my rear diagonal cage bars. I cut some metal sheet to act as a backer under the floor so the bolts wouldnt pull through the fiberglass

And the car will be a total loss anyway. Yep, Halon is the way to go.

I got my fire suppression setup from Stroud Safety.

10lb bottle. 2 nozzles in the engine bay and one down by my feet.

Pull the handle right beside me, and the bottle fires the agent. I hope I never need it. And if I do, I hope it works.

I also have small co2 extinguisher inside car.
