Mine just started doing that too. After driving for 50-60 minutes the DIC would say service TPMS. Then after the car is turned off and restarted the tire pressures show up again.
3 of my sensors are 10 years old one is only a few months old. |
Been there done that, replace sensors.
|
Batteries in the sensors are weak and or dying, so time to replace them all with OEM / Schrader sensors.
|
Got it, thank you. The car is a 2013 427. Actually the rear tires need replaced anyway I can address it then.

XX is not a zero pressure reading. Are the tires in fact flat?? I bet not.

If I was you, I would replace all 4, cause if the backs are going, the fronts are not to far behind.
Here is website you might want to checkout..... https://www.tpms.com/default.asp https://tpms247.com/collections/2013-chevrolet-corvette |

Same thing here. But the next time all is fine. The tires are fine. Next time I need tires I'll have the TPMS changed.
Run flat tires, so not concerned. |
I'd be surprised if the sensor batteries are dead on a '13. Those are only 7 years old, most will go about 10 years. I had that XX tire pressure display when my brother put his cell phone in the cup holder on a long road trip. Happened both ways, never before or since.

The plot thickens on my end....went to a shop this morning and was told all 4 sensors are good - same as before, XX on all 4 tires and check system...tech said the only problem he could see is that the car would not go into "learn" mode. Suggested I take it the dealer where a more sophisticated computer would be available to diagnose the problem. I go to the dealer - explain the situation and the first thing the advisor says is how did they check the sensors if they could not get it in "learn" mode. Per the advisor, it has to be programmed before the sensors can be checked. Dealer tried to get the car in "learn" mode but also could not.
At this point I go back to the audio shop that did the install - suggested putting the OEM radio back in (temporarily) to see if this solves the problem. He is thinking the PAC interface may be causing the issue. |
Quick update...audio shop put the OEM radio back, disconnected everything and set everything up as it was before install. Extended drive did cause the TPMS issue to reappear. At this point shop thinks there was/is a problem with the PAC interface. New interface ordered and will install on Friday.
