Beautiful. Is this your car?
Yep
Great car! Do you happen to have a tank sticker?
No fake POP or paperwork :) Tank is original, I pulled the gas lid boot back and couldn't see anything, the tank would need to be dropped to be for sure. Wasn't too concerned because it has the original trim tag, motor, trans and rear end. Also, owner history as well. It's really hard to find a real 900 code car and it has some really nice options with PB, PS, Tilt tele and speed minder. Also has original redline spare.
My ex '69 was a real 900 also, if I recall they only made a little over a hundred of them that year? Beautiful car!
That's cool! Yep 99% of the 900 code cars out there are repo trim tags.

Beautiful 69...
That is a thing of beauty. I am looking forward to building my newly found 69 Convertible to be so nice.....and I will.
very nice. What is the week birth date? Looking for one made close to my actual birthday.
Wow where have you been hiding this beauty?!??? I wish I had a very understanding wife!! Oh well one can dream!!! Good luck with the sale!! Ike
Thanks everyone for the nice comments, I really appreciate it! The car was built in Feb 69. Ike, I am a lucky guy, my wife love classic cars and doesn't care if the garage is full and her car sits outside :)
I can't complain too much as well. The vettes are inside and are daily cars sit outside in the weather.
Good luck, she's a beauty, are you sure you want to let her go:smiliedrool:??? Ike |
Ike,
I wasn't planning on letting her go but I found a 69 L88 that I plan on buying after this one sells. As you know it is really hard to find a real 900 code car, most of them have fake trim tags. It's a great car to go cruising in with the big block, power brakes, power steering and tilt-tele! |
Agreed you have a great combo there!! Big block, real GM black painted, unmolested, rare combo. I’m so jealous!! Is there a 30 year lay away plan???
ike |
Doesnt get much better than this!! Cant afford to look at the price...GLWS.
Beautiful car but with no paperwork and since it has been repainted how can you be so certain that it’s an original black car?
