2012 Carlisle Blue Convertible

Looking for a Carlisle Blue 2012 convertible. I live in SW Florida between Tampa and Ft. Myers but will travel a reasonable distance. Car has to be in good shape, especially the body, with no major problems.

It's at a Porsche dealer - maybe they'll ship? These are pretty rare, so you'll probably be waiting a long time for the next one, if that factors into your decision.

They only made 546 Carlisle Blue C6's makes them the rarest color

Weird that the color didn't take off. It's among the best.

I want to find one in Florida so I don't have to fly. Looked at a white 2013 yesterday which was reasonably close and it didn't match the pictures well. Since I going to use it for shows want something that's in good shape or that I can get into shape without a repaint. Willing to fix the peeling dash in a 4LT, front pulley and torque tube - just have to allocate ~$5,000 for that. I'm planning on waiting until I find the right car.

My experience has shown getting a rare car is difficult, waiting until it's close to you...almost impossible! I've bought many cars from dealers without seeing the car in person. The vast majority of dealer's (especially new car dealers) don't want the hassle of selling you something that's misrepresented. My advice, have them send a video and pics of anything you want, and get EVERYTHING in writing, whether it be by emails, texts, etc. Never rely on ANYTHING that is said by phone, always have any details be put in print, regarding condition, keys/books/records, prior paintwork, etc. The ZR1 I bought last month was in Colorado (I am in Ohio) and all was sent by emails texts and video's and pics. The car was EXACTLY as it was shown. Also, don't skimp on shipping, use a national company (not a broker) that has GPS tracking and that has a good reputation. Companies like Reliable, Intercity Lines, Plycar . Those 3 I've used and are excellent. Good Luck !

I am not on here alot ...modded it just last season . Runs like a beast and still has great drivability.

I ran this by a highly regarded Corvette specialist that knows me and he thought I need to take it back to stock for my use. Thanks for your time. If you see a stock one for sale please let me know.

I was on the fence about keeping it its original state . But to be honest ..it shows just as nice and runs a hell of alot better . I respect those who want museum pieces .
