My Vette in Walgreen's TV commercial
 

I spent the entire day on Thursday, at a TV commercial shoot for Walgreen's! The commercial was shot on location at a drive-thru (Nick's Char Broiled Burgers on Wilshire in L.A.), and it was fun and interesting. My car will be featured in a national ad campaign for cable and broadcast TV. :cool: I wasn't told when the ad would air, but they usually takes 4-6 weeks from the time it's shot.

A company that supplies cars, motorcycles, trucks, etc. to the film/video/commercial industry saw my car at a local car show (Amgen), and wanted to know if I was interested in having my car used in a shoot. I gave him my name and number, but never really thought I'd be contacted. When he called last week I was really surprised, plus it was really short notice. I was able to juggle things at work, so I could take off the whole day.

The actor in the commercial drove the car, but just in the parking lot, so I wasn't too worried......he actually did a pretty good job of driving. Anyway, here are some pics from the shoot (they're kinda big so dialup beware).
